Watkins Glen State Park

25.11.16

Watkins Glen is probably one of my favorite places to visit during any season. Out of all the New York State Parks, I feel like it has the most beautiful waterfalls aside from the ones in Letchworth and of course, Niagara Falls.

It was a little sad that we visited during the drought season, but seeing the greenery was still just as pleasant without the rushing water. I actually preferred it without too much water rushing in from the falls because we didn't have to get our footwear wet like usual.

Do you see just how beautiful it is? I love the trickling water from the clifftops and how the water was slowly flowing. It made everything look so serene.

I hope my uncle loved the park as much as I always do. We visit Watkins Glen almost annually and not like Niagara Falls, which I've already gotten sick of visiting, I won't ever get sick of coming to see the falls here. It's so calming and beautiful. The air is so fresh and clean. It's like everything slows down for a little while. If ever you guys come up to see the Great Lakes Region, you should really pay Watkin's Glen a visit.
