"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
(...)
And miles to go before I sleep."
Robert Frost, Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

          Nineteen years.

Nineteen years. From the innocent, young girl who left her homeland ten years ago to the worldly person I am today. So many things have happened in between trying to learn how to get up on my own two feet and cruising downtown, as I drive my own car under the city lights; in between maneuvering through the unforgettable craziness of what is high school and the stress of pulling all-nighters during finals weeks as I finish my first year in college.

In short, I guess I've learned a lot and I've experienced life a little. I've danced in the rain, found the greatest friends, had my heart broken a couple times, and tripped over my own feet several couple times. Despite everything difficult and rough though, I've enjoyed the ride so far and I'm just looking out for what kind of curveball life throws at me next.
