I currently live in New York; however, I do fly to California almost every single year; and let me tell you, Laguna Beach is a place that you'd always want to visit each time you go to SoCal. It was my first time coming to see it this summer, when I came to visit my grandad in Los Angeles, and it was honestly the most breathtaking place I have ever been to.
Driving down the Pacific Coast Highway with the windows down, as you take in the beautiful beaches is a moment worth remembering. There was a bit of traffic along the way, but the wait was definitely worth it. The palm trees swaying and the salty smell of the Pacific Ocean reminded me of home. Just thinking about it now as I write this, makes me miss it even more.
[Fact: I was born and grew up in the Philippines, until I moved to the U.S. when I was around ten years old.]
I was going to post just an overview of my whole summer vacation, but I figured Laguna Beach deserved its own little post. I'll write about the rest of my California adventures in another blog entry.
