Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes Lighthouse
Somewhere in Inverness, California, in the midst of the Marin County, lies this beautiful 71, 028-acre park reserve, boasting the most captivating sights of the Pacific Ocean and the California shoreline.

Suprise, surprise! I actually visited the Golden State this year. I didn't get to go last year because of several different reasons, including lack of time (and funds. College is way too expensive, fam.) But I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go this year. I got to visit more places I haven't been to. Point Reyes is just one of them, but all the others will come in separate posts so you could really appreciate the beauty of the west coast.

It was rather windy and chilly went I went. There was a lot of mist coming from the ocean, and a little more disappointing is the fact that the lighthouse was closed. I probably should've called beforehand to make sure it was open.

Little Bird on a Post
For some reason, there were a couple of deers up there when I went. They honestly didn't care about the people on the park's pathway. They simply minded their own business (sometimes looked right at me), but for the most part, paid no mind to the people around them.

If you guys get a chance to, you should really visit Point Reyes. If you get lucky, you might see whales pop up and say hello! It's only about an hour or so drive from San Francisco; two hours if you're coming from San Jose.
